Cash2Code
Cash2Code, as a form of offering payment on the CowryChurch platform, is an innovative solution designed to enhance the privacy of worshippers while enabling seamless online giving during church services, even in the presence of others.
A church member who wishes to give offerings using Cash2Code can either fund their platform wallet directly from their bank account or exchange physical cash for virtual credits through ushers or designated church officials responsible for collecting offerings.
Once the platform wallet is funded, the user can proceed to make an offering payment to the intended church by entering the desired amount. This amount is then converted into Paycodes, which are used to complete the offering transaction.
Cash2Code operates with a special offering type known as “Reserved Offerings” or “Pre-Paid Offerings.” These are offerings made in advance, prior to the actual service or designated giving moment.
This payment method allows users to initiate transactions using a mobile device and complete them either on the device itself or through special non-banking cards known as “MiteCards.” Additionally, it enables users to stage offering payments even when their account balance is zero.

Church worshipers are usually expected to give offerings to God cheerfully but instead of this, some of them rather see themselves battling with the issue of discomfort during offering sessions. This is because there are times lower offering amounts are given in cash and some worshipers who are in the habit of watching to see the amount other worshipers give make such worshipers to resort to squeezing the cash in their palm to hide the money or not to give at all which is a loss to the host church especially when there are a good number of worshipers involved.

CashZero
CashZero is both a prepaid and postpaid solution designed for use in relegious campgrounds during church crusades. It leverages both online and offline payment methods to facilitate purchases and cash withdrawals on crusade grounds, particularly in situations of network failure.
Cashzero is driven by proactive user behaviour, helping to prevent stalled transactions that may occur due to network disruptions-especially at critical moments when successful transactions are most needed.
Prior to arriving at the church crusade venue, a user who anticipates possible network failure can make a digital prepayment into an escrow account. This prepayment can later be used to complete postpaid transactions for the purchase of goods and services or for physical cash withdrawals. The prepayment can be made via a Whatsapp messaging channel before arriving at the internet service zone on the crusade grounds. Alternatively, upon arrival at a location with stable network connectivity, the prepayment can be completed through a web service with the assistance of a CowryChurch-registered POS agent. The user then receives a CashZero slip or voucher containng the payment details.
In the event of network failure at the crusade grounds, the CashZero user simpler locates a CowryChurch agent and resents the voucher slip. The agent then validates the information on the slip using an offline method.
Once the payment details are verified, the user can proceed to withdraw cash or make purchases without requiring an internet connection.
Crusade Offering Made Simple With Crusadex
Crusadex, an innovative solution offered by CowryChurch to helps to collect digital offerings of different types during church crusades in situations of network issues or failure.
Apart from helping to collect offerings when internet connections are bad, it also helps to mop out excess cash from the crusade arena there by reducing to a great extent physical cash handling for churches using CowryChurch.
It combines the use of CowryChurch payment slips and cards for offline payments during offering sessions.
CowryChurch card, also known as “Mite Card”, is not a bank enabled card, does not use POS, ATM machines, neither a payment gateway, it’s simply an ordinary PVC card designed to initiate and record church payments innovatively in situations where there is network failure.
Group Wallet Empowerment
Many churches are structured to have smaller groups like: men groups, women groups, youth groups etc and they all pursue a common goal of taking their churches forward through voluntary contributions towards the execution of different church projects.
Apart from the existing groups in churches, some other smaller units exist which in most churches are called departments. For instance, Choir department, drama department evangelism department etc.
All these units, for different reasons contribute funds to execute different small-scale church projects and the funds contributed must always settle in accounts and getting a bank account for the different units in the church is not always easy owing to hectic documentation process.

Locating the closest place of worship might be a problem and worshipers may either end up not partaking in corporate worship services or settle for a different church which is not the denomination of choice.
